The meals are lovely and has a... read more good variety. I ended appreciating the inland resort as it is safer for kids to run around and easy access for elderly. The main purpose of our trip is to snorkel and enjoy the coast. Except for the 1.5yo, everyone went snorkelling in the open water. This resort has the most amazing coral reef just off its jetty. Having snorkel at various part of the island, we realised this resort somehow able to maintain a good coastal ecosystem that attracts lot of marine life..The snorkel and diving crew are amazing, caring and highly professional people. My 8yo encountered with an emergency whilst snorkelling in the open water. (Things happened in the wild.) We were very grateful for the decisive action of our first responder dive instructor, immediate organisation by the hotel manager to access medical care and the tireless company by our snorkelling guide throughout the medical transport and treatment process. We were well taken care by this great community. Our 8yo was back to her normal self that afternoon and insisted to continue with island hoping adventure the next day. Instead of discouraging us from taking to the trip, the resort has arranged additional crew members to accompany us the next day. Whilst the rest of the family snorkel, the additional crew spent time with my 8yo on the boat, entertaining her with tales of the sea. The level of service is truly amazing. Lastly, we were so lucky to witness the release of baby sea turtles into the sea. The resort has beaches preserve for turtles to nest. If you appreciate the marine ecosystem and the experience to be close to nature, I highly recommend Borneo Divers. We will be back for more snorkelling.

We took the one day Bohey Dulang island hopping package and was assigned Dive Master Yusof... read more as our guide. Yusof took good care of us and he made our hiking and snorkeling experience so memorable.
The staffs were friendly and helpful. The itinerary/activities were well organized and coordinated.
Our room was clean and comfortable for 3 pax.
Food was good enough. BBQ dinner was yummy. The meals would be more interesting if we could more choices of dessert. Eg. Ice-kacang, sago pudding .
We are glad we stayed at this resort because we were able to appreciate so much beauty nature has to offer (from land to under the sea) through your facilities and hospitality.

Solid diving experience. - Superb diving spot. Quiet resort. Boats are well manned and dive guides are experienced. Nitrox available at 32% only. Meals are buffet style, basic Malaysian classics with a couple of... read more European options. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning. Internet is restricted to a slow wifi service in the dining hall but there is a good 4G service on the island. It’s a fair haul to get there from Australia, but once there I got 26 dives done in seven days. And the diving? Check out the photos.

We stayed in this nice divers resort hotel for 4 nights. We arrived in the morning after staying overnight in Tawau. The pick up was smooth and friendly at Semporna.... read more There were several friendly staff already waiting for us as our speed boat was approaching the pier. The check in process was smooth and we were quickly assigned to our rooms. We started our check dive on time and the DMs were very friendly and professional. We had 3-4 dives per day and our gears were all set up and transfer to the speed boat prior to our arrival every morning. The food was okay. Their manager Vincent treated us a nice crab congee the morning of our departure which was really delicious. All in all, it's a nice PADI recognised resort hotel and the stay was really pleasant. Certainly I would wanna stay in this resort again should we wanna go diving again in Sipadan! Special thanks to our DM Roslin, Emily and Koon. We initially signed up for a snorkeling package of 4D3N but as soon as we arrived on the first... read more day, see the magical resort surrounded by beautiful corals and fishes, we changed our mind and signed up for a diving package instead, completing our AOW at the resort. There has been great hospitality and personalised service since day 1. we were also briefed about the facility and schedule of diving/snorkeling.
The facilities were great for we spent time in the swimming pool, massage and enjoy sumptuous meals in the cafe.
Food was surprisingly delicious and tasty on the island for all 3 meals which is included in the package.
The GM was personable, friendly and amicably helpful. He shared a lot of amazing stories and has a great team. Shout out to Emily, Willy and Roy who were professional and ensured that we had the best diving experience!
Looking forward to our next trip!

Great diving, guides, and hospitality - It is Pulau Mabul, not Pulau Sipadan. Great customer service from pick up at Tawau airport til resort. Dive sites and guides are fantastic. There is a programmed 3 dives... read more a day, but is adequately spaced apart that you don't feel rushed or overloaded. Additional sunset or night dives (unguided) at the house reef is available by just writing your name on the board, so theoretically you could do up to 5 dives a day. Lots of fresh cool drinking water refill available at the dive station, as well as at each villa - such a great convenience, in lieu of copious amounts of bottled water.
Great accomodation. Buffet style meals 3x a day at set times - variety and quality is great - caters for both local and western cuisine.
Pool, snorkelling activities are available, and appear to be family friendly.

Just got home from a dive trip with Borneo Divers. Everything was well organized, from the booking all the way till we were dropped off at the airport. We... read more were welcomed by a big group of crew and they brought us through, briefing us on dive schedules and other information by the front office. Food was served in the dining hall which was spacious and well ventilated, there was even a BBQ night during our 4 nights there. Enough variety and was pleased wit the quality as well. Spoken to other divers who said food was good too! Dive team and dive centre operations was great, we went for a check dive on the first day and my partner was struggling after years of not diving, so the DM arranged for a private guide for us for the second check dive, separate from the main group. This was v much appreciated, we felt more confident and assured in the waters and this prepared us for the dives to come. Big shout out to Roslan, Scott, Yusuf, the captains, support crew and everyone at the dive centre. Not once did we feel unsafe, we were very much well taken care of. Sipadan was amazing! Rooms were well maintained and spacious. Drying racks, lots of seating space provided as well. Bathroom was spacious enough to wash your dive gears etc. views are great at the jetty. Rooms were well maintained and spacious. Drying racks, lots of seating space provided as well. Bathroom was spacious enough to wash your dive gears etc. views are great at the jetty. There’s also a small gym if you need. As some mentioned there’s some construction going on, but it didnt bother us much.
Overall highly recommend this dive resort, they dont have water chalets compared to the other resorts but everything else made up for it. Would love to go back one day! More
